Waipuna Football Club (WFC) is excited to deliver two Academy pathways throughout 2026, offering high-quality training environments for players to learn, grow, and thrive.
⚽ Waipuna Mixed Academy
Our Mixed Academy (boys and girls) is led by Alejandro, Head of Coaching and Player Development, alongside our team of highly qualified and accredited coaches – Corey and Nessi. These sessions focus on developing players technically, tactically, and physically, while building confidence and a strong love for the game. Training is structured, challenging, and engaging, with players supported at a level that suits their individual development.
💜 Waipuna Girls Academy
Our Girls Academy is proudly led by Mark and Tori, who bring a passion for developing female players in a positive, empowering, and fun environment. These specialised sessions are designed to help girls sharpen their skills, grow in confidence, and enjoy football while being supported and encouraged every step of the way.
Across both academies, WFC is passionate about helping players reach their goals. Our sessions are carefully planned to keep players motivated, challenged, and supported. We place strong emphasis on creating a safe and inclusive environment where players feel confident to learn, make mistakes, and improve.
Through positive communication, individual feedback, and team-based learning, we aim to develop not only strong footballers but confident young people — encouraging players to dream big, work hard, and enjoy their football journey with Waipuna Football Club
Training dates and times
Mixed Academy:
- Term 3: runs from the 20th July to 24th September
- Pre-Academy (ages 7–9): Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00 – 5:00pm | $11.50 per session
- U11: Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:00 – 6:00pm | $15.00 per session
- U13: Mondays, 6:00 – 7:30pm | $18.50 per session
- U15: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:15 – 7:45pm | $18.50 per session
Girls Academy:
- Term 3: 6 week block, every Monday from the 20th July to 24th August
- Ages 8-10: 5:00 – 6:15pm | $90.00 ($15.00 per session)
- Ages 11+: 5:00 – 6:15pm | $90.00 ($15.00 per session)
Every player who signs up for two days in a week – whether in the Mixed Academy, Girls Academy, or a combination of both – receives a 10% discount off the second day.
